Vacation Day 1 - Buffalo, NY

Last week, my parents and I took a trip up to New York to see Niagara Falls.  I had never been up to New York before neither had my dad.  Mom has seen Niagara Falls before but she will tell you that it was many, many years ago.  We stayed in the Village of Williamsville, a quaint little village outside of Buffalo.  Our travels on the first day took us to the Botanical Gardens and I love getting some flower pictures!

 

























The Botancial Gardens were actually located in Lackawanna, NY, just outside of Buffalo.  Down the street from the Botanical Gardens was a beautiful church.





Next we headed to downtown Buffalo for a cruise on Lake Erie.  Also, located waterside is a naval and military park.  We didn't have time to tour the naval ships but we at least got to walk by the memorials and it was pretty cool site to see.  It was a beautiful day until we got ready to board our boat for the narrated cruise on Lake Erie.  The clouds rolled in as we set out on our boat tour and we even saw a water spout while out on the water.
